At Silver Jubilee Home, we believe that a comfortable and supportive environment plays a vital role in the wellbeing of our residents. Our facilities are thoughtfully designed to ensure safety, convenience, and a homely atmosphere, while also providing the essential resources for quality care and daily living. From spacious common areas that encourage social interaction, to quiet corners that offer peace and privacy, every detail is created with the needs of our residents in mind. We aim to strike a balance between professional care and the warmth of home, so that each resident feels not only well looked after, but also respected, valued, and part of a caring community.
With that in mind, below are the facilities we provide to support our residents’ comfort, care and daily living needs:
Dining Hall
This spacious hall has a capacity to accommodate about 650 people. Birthday parties, festival celebrations, gifts and “Ang Pow“ distributions are some of the functions is held in this dining hall. Karaoke session and stage performance by food sponsors are also held to entertain the residents.
Physiotherapy Ward
The physiotherapy ward is equipped with limb exercises such as a treadmill, parallel bars and pedal exerciser for residents to do their daily workout. Group therapy is also conducted to improve the co-ordination system of the patients. It helps to restore movement and function when the resident is affected by injury, illness or disability.
Cluster Units
The upgraded 5 blocks of cluster units are the Home for the fully mobile and able bodied residents. The total of 40 rooms with three to a room basis, a Nurse Station and Kuan Im Shrine. Each room comes with adjoining toilet and bathroom for the convenience of the residents.
Coldroom & Refrigeration
Inside both kitchens, we have refrigerators and freezers to keep perishable food fresh. There is also a coldroom large enough to store about 2,000 kg.of provisions like vegetables, fruits and drinks.
Rehabilitation Centre
The rehab centre provides therapy to the residents. It is equipped with a complete set of physiotherapy and occupational therapy work out equipment. The physiotherapist works with residents to help them manage pain, balance, mobility, and motor function.
Ward (Male / Female)
There are 2 medical wards separated by male and female which can accommodate 100 residents. Each ward is equipped with a television. Residents with medical and communicable conditions ranging to conditions affecting the different systems and organs of the body are warded. They are well taken care of by medical staff.
Kitchen – Halal & Non-Halal
The main kitchen which consist of a halal and non-halal section is attached to the dining hall and can cater for events.
Laundry
The Home has an in-house laundry for the linen and clothes used by the residents. The residents are encourage to assist the laundry staff, to dispel idleness and boredom.
